“My name is Jordan Mitchell. I was born and raised in the south side of Wichita, Kansas. Lived my whole life here and I’ve seen it grow steadily, but unfortunately I, like many others, have seen what happens when you forget the people at the bottom. Rampant homelessness, drug abuse, and mental health issues plague some of the streets of Wichita. It’s time to help these people once and for all. I have seen the effects the top 1% hoarding all of the wealth in America rendering “The American Dream” an actual day dream. People constantly F’d over by their employers when everyone deserves a livable wage and a healthy work/life balance. It’s time the regular person’s voice is heard in D.C.
